Emmanuel Chisadza

MRPharmS, B. Pharm. Hons. (Zimbabwe), B. Comm. Marketing Management (UNISA), Practice Certificate in Pharmacy Management (Medway School of Pharmacy), MBA International Management (London). 

Emmanuel has served as a community pharmacist in the Southwest of England in various capacities for over twenty years having been pharmacist manager and locum for various independent and multiple pharmacies. He has multi-site management experience and has also served as superintendent pharmacist. Emmanuel has published articles in journals like Chemist and Druggist, The Pharmacy Journal and Health Policy and Planning. .

Prof David Katerere is the Research Platform Chair of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Advancement in Africa (PBA2) at Tshwane University of Technology. He is co-director of the recently established CSIR / TUT Cannabis Research Centre. Prof Katerere holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. He has worked in pharmaceutical and biotech practice and research in the past 25 years in 4 countries on 3 continents. He has several inventions to his name including the nutraceutical, Niselo and Covid-Connect App for use in clinical trials and post-recovery and KovaNix hand and surface sanitizer. He has published over 50 journal articles and is co-editor of three books: Ethnoveterinary Botanical Medicines (T&F) (2010), Systems Analysis Approach for Complex Global Challenges (Springer) (2018) and Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge for the Modern Era (T&F) (2019). He is a member of advisory committees of SAHPRA and the Global Health Supply Chain Consortium, co-founded by faculty at University of Michigan and University of Southern California. Prof Katerere teaches and researches across the pharmaceutical and biotech value chain including product development from medicinal plants (for food, nutraceuticals and medicines) and clinical testing, substandard and falsified medicines / vaccines and medicine governance. He is a past competitive Toastmaster and President of Pretoria Capital Rotary Club.

  


Patrick Maduveko

BPharm (Hons), MSc, MRPharmS.    


Patrick is a practising community pharmacist in South West England with more than 20 years’ experience. He studied his pharmacy at the University of Zimbabwe, completing his first degree in 1994. He also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from South Africa (IMM). Patrick completed his post graduate degree at Aston University, being awarded an MSc in Community Clinical Pharmacy in 2008. His current role entails the mentoring of trainees in community pharmacy. Patrick has a passion for passing on the knowledge and experience of pharmacy practice to new generations. Patrick is part of the team that delivers virtual lectures in calculations and BNF clinical topics.

Ijeoma is a Primary care Pharmacist working in general practice, collaborating with Local CCG, hospitals and Community Pharmacies in London. Ijeoma is very passionate about supporting early career pharmacist and has a key interest in health policy, health equity and addressing health inequalities in minority communities within the UK. Ijeoma completed her foundation pharmacist training year at Guys and St Thomas Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and is currently undertaking a postgraduate programme for Pharmacist in Primary Care.
